SEARCH TRACK

Participants in the SEARCH track meet weekly for an hour and engage in approximately 30 minutes of structured homework to reinforce and apply what they’ve learned.

1. Identify Key Issues

Pinpoint what makes a problem significant and worth addressing.

2. Prioritize Challenges

Rank and select which problem to tackle first based on criteria that matters to you.

3. Validate the Problem​

Gather evidence to confirm the existence and extent of the issue.

4. Assess Motivation​

Determine the level of demand for a solution and the stakeholders’ willingness to embrace change.

5. Innovate Solutions​

Brainstorm and evaluate potential solutions, choosing the most promising one to test.

Participants in the TEST track meet weekly for one hour and engage in approximately 30 minutes of homework. Participants eager to generate actionable results are encouraged to dedicate additional time to conducting and analyzing tests to maximize the impact of their ventures.

1. Develop a Business Model Canvas

Utilize this tool as your entrepreneurship scorecard to outline and refine your business strategy.

2. Implement Testing Methodologies

Apply different concept testing methods each week to evaluate the effectiveness and market readiness of your ideas.

3. Analyze Results

Systematically gather data and assess outcomes to inform the next iteration of your business model.

4. Iterate and Adapt

Make necessary adjustments based on feedback and analysis to continuously improve your approach.

5. Collaborative Review

Share insights and progress with your team and facilitators to gain diverse perspectives and expert guidance.

1. Set Clear Objectives​

Meet with your mentor to establish specific, achievable build goals for the semester.

2. Develop an Action Plan

Create a detailed plan outlining the steps necessary to reach your build goals, identifying resources and timelines.

3. Sessions at the eHub

Implement your action plan, using weekly two-hour hacking sessions at eHub to develop your product or service.

4. Continuous Feedback

Regularly analyze your progress and share results with your team and facilitators to refine your approach.

5. Mentor Guidance

Receive personalized one-to-one or team guidance throughout the semester to navigate challenges and ensure project success.
