Why the eHub?
The eHub stands as a testament to UC Berkeley’s commitment to nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit of its students. As an extension of the Haas School of Business, this initiative brings together students from all disciplines, offering them a unique platform to connect, build, and be discovered. By combining the advantages of a physical space with the wealth of resources available at Berkeley, the eHub amplifies and complements the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Open Hours and Access
The eHub is open to all Berkeley students from Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, during the first weeks of each semester. After this period, access is extended to members only, with additional opportunities for Campus Startup Navigator meetings. Select members will also enjoy after-hours access, providing flexibility for those engaged in late-night brainstorming sessions or project work.

Resources for Members
Our beautifully designed space is equipped with everything you need to succeed:

  • Reservable Meeting Rooms: Perfect for student organization leaders and private meetings.
  • Open Meeting and Working Spaces: Collaborative areas designed for brainstorming and team projects.
  • Private Zoom Meeting Rooms: For virtual meetings and remote collaboration.
  • Event Space: With a capacity of 50, ideal for presentations and networking events.
  • Free Snacks and Coffee: To keep you energized and focused.
  • Video Console: For multimedia presentations and meetings.

Your Campus Startup Navigator
One of the key features of the eHub is the Campus Startup Navigator, a dedicated staff member who helps students chart their entrepreneurial journey. The Navigator provides personalized guidance, selects appropriate resources, and works to remove barriers to entrepreneurship. eHub members benefit from one-on-one and small group meetings with the Navigator, while other students can schedule appointments and walk-ins.

How to Apply and Commit
Applying for eHub membership is straightforward. At the start of each semester, students will share their availability and entrepreneurial stage. Membership requires a commitment to progressing towards an entrepreneurship goal. Members will be grouped based on their stage and availability and will participate in targeted exercises and discussions. They will also have opportunities to meet with mentors both individually and in groups.

Engaging Programming and Events
The eHub is more than a workspace; it’s a vibrant community of events and programming:

Speakers and Events: Featuring industry leaders, campus administrators, and student organizations.
Core Programming: Including small group practice opportunities, problem-solving sessions, mentoring, and poster presentation days with investors.

Anticipated Activities
The eHub will host a variety of activities to enhance learning, community-building, and venture development:

Connect: Speaker events, micro-communities, facilitated social events, and partner-led programming.
Build: 1-1 and team mentoring, small group practice activities, and problem validation exercises.
Be Discovered: Startup poster sessions, investor meetings, and tailored programming based on member interests.
