MEET THE STUDENT

I chose Berkeley because of its unique entrepreneurship ecosystem. Throughout high school, I founded two companies, which were small businesses, but I loved the idea of entrepreneurship so much and felt Berkeley was the perfect place for me. Throughout my time in college, I want to keep creating ideas, meeting new people, and making a positive impact in the fields of entrepreneurship and social entrepreneurship.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP GOALS

I believe that even a small change can make a difference in an ecosystem. For example, I’m interested in the field of medicine because I feel like small changes there can make a huge improvement in the workflow and efficiency of the healthcare and medical systems. So I really want to find an idea where I can create small positive change and make a positive difference in the world.

I would love to have founded my own company by the time I graduate college, but nothing beats experience at the end of the day. I’m not against doing an internship or working for a company. It can always help me in the long run. But my ultimate goal is to start a company. That’s the dream. But I get that dreams take time. I’m not relying on the fact that I will be a founder immediately out of college.

LOOKING FOR HELP WITH

My team and I are looking to find other minds to collaborate with on our ideas. That’s the first thing. Secondly, we want to evaluate our product-market fit. We want to do extensive market research and understand how we can gain market share. Lastly, we’re looking for guidance and mentorship.
