MEET THE STUDENT

As a sophomore at UC Berkeley, I’m interested in pursuing Global Studies and Business. Spending parts of my childhood in Shanghai and Japan planted the seeds of curiosity for global cultures and languages, fueling my life-goal of becoming a polyglot. I am constantly trying to broaden my perspectives and the root of my many interests is a passion for learning. I have a special love for visual arts and decided to take my first steps in entrepreneurship through starting my own portrait photography business. I’m currently trying to learn French, how to DJ, and how to sing Ella Fitzgerald’s ‘Round Midnight’. 

ENTREPRENEURSHIP GOALS

Last year, I began working as a freelance portrait photographer. It introduced me to the joys and challenges of starting my own business, and the most valuable lesson I learned was the importance of advocating for myself and my ideas. My current goals are to learn more about entrepreneurship and work with people to bring ideas into life. I hope to continue advocating for myself, and someday others, through entrepreneurship and ideas that will positively impact the world.

WHAT ABOUT THE EHUB MOST EXCITES YOU?

I’m excited to build and belong to a community of motivated, creative entrepreneurs. I look forward to learning about different people’s motivations, ideas, and stories that led them to pursue entrepreneurship. What excites me the most is the possibility of watching members gain the confidence within themselves to make their goals a reality.

LOOKING FOR HELP WITH

I am hoping for mentorship and the opportunity to learn. As someone who is relatively new to the landscape of entrepreneurship, I’m joining the eHub with the intention to learn from professionals and see where my entrepreneurship journey takes me.
